Apply for “University of Nottingham GREAT Scholarships for India, Indonesia, and Malaysia Students in the UK 2024/2025”
In collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Northampton offers GREAT Scholarships for India, Indonesia, and Malaysia students for the academic year 2024-2025 in the UK.
The studentship is available for Indian, Indonesian, and Malaysian students who want to undertake a Postgraduate degree program in law school. This scholarship of £10,000 is offered to students who are passport holders of the target country.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Applicants from India, Indonesia, and Malaysia are eligible to apply.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to a Postgraduate degree in the School of Law, any subject offered by the university
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- Candidates have national (passport holder) of Indonesia, Malaysia, or India (Note Indian applicants can only apply for courses within the School of Law).
- They are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
- They hold an offer to start a full-time master (excluding MRes) at the University of Nottingham’s UK campuses.
- They Fit the British Council’s profile of a GREAT Scholar.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: Students can apply to the university’s application portal for their desired postgraduate program. Then, interested students must apply through the scholarships section of their application system, NottinghamHub.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- Certified copies of your academic qualifications
- At least one reference (signed and on headed paper)
- A personal statement to explain why you are interested in studying your chosen course
- Admission Requirements: Students must meet the postgraduate entry requirements at the university.
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 6.5
Benefits
The selected candidates will be awarded financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.
