Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a master’s degree
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria: Students must be of foreign nationality and newcomers to a French university (except for students preparing a double degree in collaboration with a Paris Cité University who are themselves also eligible)
- Students applying for the Master 1 must hold a foreign diploma equivalent to a License or a Bachelor’s degree.
- International students must not already hold a French National Higher Education Diploma.
- Students applying for the Master 2 must have completed at least one year of full-time Masters in a disciplinary field related to the training requested.
- Bi-national candidates, when they have French nationality, are not eligible.
- Students outside Europe must register in parallel with the masters via the Etudes en France platform.

- How to Apply: Applicants must apply to one of any Graduate Schools taking part in the Master’s programs.
- Supporting Documents: The required documents must upload for the online application :
- CV (1 page).
- Cover letter (1 page explaining the applicant’s career goals, how this Master’s program will help them achieve them, and their motivations to join Université Paris Cité).
- Recommendation letters: two recommendation letters written by former or current professors, lecturers, tutors, or supervisors.
- Transcripts of records from Bachelor’s degree on.
- If applicable, abstracts of the candidate’s previous work (e.g., dissertation, books, internship reports, scientific articles).
- Research project: submit a short research proposal (3-4 pages, including references)
- Admission Requirements: To be able to study in France, students outside Europe must have registered for the Master’s via the Etudes en FranceThis is a completely independent but necessary procedure to obtain a visa to study in France.
- Language Requirement: In some cases, it is mandatory to provide the results of an official French test (TCF).
