High-caliber individuals with open minds and limitless potential are invited by the Schwarzman Scholars Program through the University of Pennsylvania to participate in its Schwarzman Scholarship for the academic year 2024/2025
The Schwarzman Scholars Program is a highly selective international scholarship program accepting applications from all international students except those from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. This program will allow selected scholars to pursue a fully-funded one-year Master’s degree in Global Affairs at Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of China’s most prestigious universities.
Established in 1740 and presently ranking at the 13th position in the QS World University Rankings 2023, the University of Pennsylvania is a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the fourth-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and among the highest-ranked universities in the world.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All US students except students from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao are eligible to apply.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Master’s degree in Global Affairs at the Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University in Beijing can be applied for after applying and completing an undergraduate degree program at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA.

- How to Apply: Students can submit their applications online via Coalition or the Common application portal. Scholarship application details can be obtained here.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- Penn-specific Essay.
- Official High School Transcript
- School Report
- Letters of Recommendation
- Mid-Year Report. Early Decision: Required February 15, 2023, if the student is deferred.
- Final Report
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the admission and entry requirements of the university for the program they wish to join.
- Language Requirement: The students must have a language proficiency at the CEFR level of A2 as demonstrated by TOEFL iBT of 40+, IELTS of 5.0+, TOEIC of 400+, or DET 45+.
