Rooty Hill RSL Club Medical Scholarship at University of Western Sydney, Australia

Eligibility:
– Be commencing full-time study in the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at UWS.
– Have been residents of the Blacktown Local Government Area for at least twelve months prior to applying for this scholarship and continue to reside within the area for the duration of their degree.
– Be enthusiastic ambassadors for health in the Blacktown area and Greater Western Sydney, demonstrated through their personal statement.
– Be Australian citizens or permanent residents

Scholarship Description:Over forty years ago Rooty Hill RSL Club started operating as a fully licensed club in modest premises located in Rooty Hill Road North. This small social club of the early 1960s is now the largest RSL Club in Australia and a club that ranks in the top 10 of all registered clubs of any format. From a club that was constructed on two suburban building blocks, the RSL Club & Resort now covers an area of about nine hectares (20 acres).
