The University of Newcastle is actively looking for PhD candidates to apply for its PhD Scholarships in Adrenal-Targeted Nanobiotechnology for the academic year 2024-2025.
The University of Newcastle has opened the applications for this project for participation for all international and domestic students undertaking their PhD studies at the university. The project is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). It will award the selected candidates a scholarship worth $28,602 per annum for up to 4 years of study with additional benefits.

- The research proposal must be supplied for all applications
- Birth certificate
- Copy of personal details page of your passport and visa if applicable
- Evidence of citizenship, if not born in Australia or New Zealand and not previously enrolled at this University within the past seven years
- English translations of academic qualifications, if academic qualifications are not in English
- Copies of English Language qualification
- Copies of all previous academic qualifications
- Evidence of name change if academic qualifications are in a different name.
- Curriculum Vitae detailing relevant experience or employment
- Statement of research experience from the previous supervisor, if previous research experience is specified (optional)
- Evidence of previous enrolments for an incomplete research program
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1.
- Language Requirement: The students must meet the postgraduate English language proficiency requirements of the university.
Benefits
The candidates selected as winners of the PhD Scholarship by the University of Newcastle will be awarded $28,602 per annum for upto four years, along with a living allowance scholarship for 3.5 years. The award may include a $1,500 relocation allowance and an international candidate’s Overseas Student Health Cover at a single rate.
