The Queensland University of Technology is excitedly looking forward to awarding two PhD Scholarships in Addressing International Tax Avoidance in the Digital Age: A Model for Allocating Profits of Multinational Enterprises. The award can be taken in Australia for the academic year 2024-2025.
This PhD scholarship is offered for one research project each. The scholarship is available as part of Professor Kerrie Sadiq’s ARC Future Fellowship. The award will consist of an annual stipend of $28,597 and international tuition fees. The students that hold a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields are eligible to be winners.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All international, as well as domestic students, are eligible to apply.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD programme in the School of Accountancy at QUT can be applied for.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must commit to internal, full-time study
- The applicants must be able to commence the PhD course in July 2024 or February 2025
- The applicants must demonstrate excellent research capacity.

- How to Apply: The students are required to apply for admission via the online platform of the university. Scholarship applications must be made by submitting an EOI (Expression of Interest) along with their admission application in the scholarship section. - an up-to-date CV indicating previous lab experience and skills
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet all the requirements for admission to either QUT’s Doctor of Philosophy programme and hold a Bachelor’s degree with Honours or a Masters’s degree by research in the broad field of taxation in a relevant discipline area of law, accounting or economics.

Benefits
The selected candidates will be provided a living allowance of $28,597 each year, indexed annually by the Queensland University of Technology. International students will also receive a tuition fee sponsorship.
