Apply for “International Excellence Scholarships in Information Technology and Computer Science, Australia 2024/2025”
To attract high-performing international students to the University of Newcastle for study in 2024, it has established the International Excellence Scholarships in Information Technology and Computer Science for the academic year 2024-2025 in Australia.
This scholarship will be awarded to students who have received an offer to study in an eligible program and who will commence studying at the University of Newcastle. This scholarship programme is only open to participation from international students. The scholarship award is valued at $60,000, dispensed in installments of $15,000.

- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must be International full-fee paying students.
- The applicants must be commencing study in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Newcastle in 2022 and beyond at an Australian or online campus as indicated on your Letter of Offer.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: Students can log in to the Application portal of the university to apply for admission. These scholarships are awarded automatically and require no separate application.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- Academic transcript
- Completion certificate
- Evidence of English proficiency
- Passport biometric page
- For programs requiring work experience, a curriculum vitae (CV)/resume and/or letters of work experience are recommended
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have graduated from high school or have or be expected to have a relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
- Language Requirement: The students can refer to the English language proficiency requirements of the university and submit test scores and proofs accordingly.
Benefits
The University of Newcastle will provide the selected candidates a sum of $60,000, i.e. $15,000 in each year of study under a full-time study load.
