The Goldsmiths, University of London is pleased to offer the Educational Studies MPhil/PhD research bursaries to support International students accessing excellent UK higher education opportunities for the academic year 2024-2025.
The scholarship aims to allow International students to enjoy the experience of studying who want to pursue MPhil and PhD degrees at the university. Successful scholars receive Up to 3 Bursaries, including one bursary at 100% of full-time enrolment fees and two bursaries at the home rate at 75% of part-time enrolment fees.

- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The Department has an established MPhil/PhD in Education and an MPhil/PhD in Art Practice and Learning. Together, these programs provide opportunities for study in a wide range of topics relating to Education.
- Applications are invited, particularly in the following areas given above.
- Applicants should have excellent qualifications at Undergraduate and Master’s levels in Education or a closely related area of the Social Sciences.

- How to Apply: Applicants must apply for the departmental bursary competition. They must first apply to the department for a place on the MPhil/PhD in Education or MPhil/PhD in Art Practice and Learning. After that, they can email the following documents to Dr. Vally Lytra lytra (@gold.ac.uk).
- Supporting Documents: Applicants need to submit the required supporting documents:
- A copy of their research proposal.
- A cover letter stating their reasons for applying for the Department of Educational Studies Research Bursary Competition.
- Admission Requirements: Applicants must complete the entry requirements for MPhil/PhD Education and an MPhil/Ph.D. in Art Practice and Learning admission at the university.
- Language Requirement: Students must meet the English language proficiency requirements of the University.
Benefits
- The Goldsmiths, University of London will provide Up to 3 Bursaries, including one bursary at 100% of full-time enrolment fees and two bursaries at the home rate at 75% of part-time enrolment fees.
- They are payable for up to three years of full-time and six years of part-time study (subject to satisfactory progress).
- International students can apply for bursaries but will be expected to pay the difference between home and international fee rates.
