Apply for “Deutschlandstipendien International Scholarships at Europa-Institut – Saarland University, Germany 2024/2025”
To contribute to establishing a scholarship culture in Germany and attracting foreign students to participate in this initiative, the German Federal Government has established the Deutschlandstipendien at the Europa-Institut for the academic year 2024-2025.
International and Ukrainian students that undertake a master´s program in European and International Law at the Europa-Institut are offered this scholarship application. The award is presented within the framework of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research support program. It is financed half by the Federal Government and half by private sponsors. The award is valued at 300 Euros per month for one year of study.
The Europa-Institut was founded at Saarland University in 1951 and is consequently the second eldest institution focused on European Integration. It is part of the Saarland University known for research in Computer Science, nanotechnology, medicine, European relations, politics, and law.
Why choose to study at Europa-Institut? The Europa Institut is a university-based on merging German and French educational traditions. The Europa-Institut aims to teach young people in the traditional manner of each different country about Europe, to offer education from a uniform European perspective for students from these countries, and, perhaps before long, to produce Europe’s driving forces.

- Eligible Countries: Ukrainian students and other foreign national students are eligible to apply.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a master’s programme in a Europa Institut.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must be overseas citizens.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: The applicants are required to submit an online admission application first. The applicants must indicate that they want to apply for a scholarship for a master programme at the time of applying for admission.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- application form and two passport pictures
- typewritten curriculum vitae
- letter of motivation
- notarized copy of your university diploma(s)
- transcript of records
- notarized copy of your school-leaving diploma
- English language certificate
- German language certificate
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a university degree in law or in a comparable subject(business studies, humanities) from a German or foreign university.
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English and German language proficiency tests:
- TOEFL
- IELTS
- CAE
- DSH
- ZOP
- TestDaF
Benefits
The Europa-Institut will provide the six selected candidates, three Ukrainian and three others, a sum of 300 Euros per month for one year.
