The award will provide recognition and assistance to a deserving international student. Preference will be given to applicants who are Nepalese citizens and studying nursing or engineering.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All nationalities. Preference will be given to applicants who are Nepalese citizens.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for one year of undergraduate, postgraduate (Course work), and postgraduate (Research)
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible to receive the CQUniCares Adip Rijal Memorial Scholarship, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled or intend to enroll at CQUniversity in Term 1, 2024,
- Being an international student,
- Be studying any undergraduate or postgraduate course,
- Be able to demonstrate low personal/ family income or be under financial pressure,
- Be enrolled with a term study load of at least 12 credit points,
- Be residing and studying in Queensland,
- Be enrolled at Census Date in Term 1, 2024,
- Not be receiving multiple CQUniversity Scholarships that exceed the annual value of $10,000.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are: Nepalese citizens and studying nursing or engineering
How to Apply
- How to Apply: To apply for the CQUniCares Adip Rijal Memorial Scholarship: Complete a Scholarship Online Application Form, ensuring all supporting documentation is completed and attached as outlined here.
- For Current students (applicants with a Student ID number), apply through MyCQU. Applicants will need to log in with their student details.
- For Future students (applicants who have applied or are intending to apply to study at CQUniversity but have not yet received or accepted an offer), apply now.
- Supporting Documents: Students may be required to provide further documentation to support their application. This can include the following:
- Written submission
- Documentation demonstrating academic achievement or unofficial transcript
- Documentation demonstrating community involvement, exemplary work, or demonstration of leadership
- Resume
- Documentation demonstrating low personal or family income/ financial need
- Confirmation of Identity or 2 x Cultural References + a Statutory Declaration (if relevant to scholarship)
- Admission Requirements: Academic requirements may vary between courses.
- Applicants will be assessed on the application and a written submission of no more than 250 words addressing the following: “How will a CQUniversity Scholarship assist with their studies?”
- Language Requirement: Applicants must understand what English language requirements they’ll need to meet to be offered a place to study at CQUniversity.
