The Queensland University of Technology is pleased to announce the 6th mass extinction PhD scholarship program in Australia for the academic session 2024-2025.
The scholarship opportunity is offered to Australian or New Zealand and International students who have applied for the Postgraduate, Research, and PhD degree program at QUT. For three years, selected students will receive a living allowance of $30,000 (AUD) per annum. The scholarship is for full-time study and can be used to support living costs.

- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a Postgraduate, Research, and PhD degree program in Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and Science any subject offered by the university
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Candidates can meet QUT academic and English language entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy (IF49).
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with Honors or a Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to the research topic (e.g., social sciences, environmental sciences).

Benefits
The Queensland University of Technology will provide a living allowance of $30,000 (AUD) per annum for three years. The scholarship is for full-time study and can be used to support living costs, and a six-month extension to the scholarship is also possible, subject to approval by QUT. International students will also receive an HDR tuition fee sponsorship if successful in obtaining the scholarship.
